How about starting a message board on Stoneybatter to enable old friends to keep in touch. I myself was reared in the Oxmantown area and went to school in Brunner. I live in Scotland and would love to share old memories with other Cowtowners!

I remember going to the Mero Picture HOUSE,you could get in on Saturday morning (we called the films.The follin upers)fo 4 jam jars,if you han*t got the 4 pence price in.
Just beside it was a Barrel Making firm,we could watch that while waiting the queue.
We also went to the Picture House on the Quay ,was it THE PHONIX ,We called it THE FLEAPIT.
THE GOOD OLD DAYS.
