| How about starting a message board on Stoneybatter to enable old friends to keep in touch. I myself was reared in the Oxmantown area and went to school in Brunner. I live in Scotland and would love to share old memories with other Cowtowners! |

I remember going to the Mero Picture HOUSE,you could get in on Saturday morning (we called the films.The follin upers)fo 4 jam jars,if you han*t got the 4 pence price in.
Just beside it was a Barrel Making firm,we could watch that while waiting the queue.
We also went to the Picture House on the Quay ,was it THE PHONIX ,We called it THE FLEAPIT.
